Welcome to

FSPSP
The Friends of St & St Paul, Ewhurst (FSPSP) is a registered charity set up to raise money for the repair and restoration of our historic “At Risk” church. We aim to involve the village and the wider community in everything we do. This involves promoting the history of the church and its role over hundreds of years as a symbol at the heart of the community.
In this website you will find information about our church, its history, its importance to our village community and how you can be part of this. You will be able to read about past and future projects and about the fundraising events which we are planning. By registering to become a Friend, you will give permission for us to send to you directly, any publicity material about anything which we are undertaking. There is no payment for this.
St Peter & St Paul is open every day from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. If you are visiting, parking is available in the village hall car park and in the Glebe. Click here to see a detailed map with footpaths.
We would be very pleased to receive your donations to further our work and you will find links to do this at the foot of every page on the site. All funds received will be used to care for the church and the grounds of St Peter and St Paul. The next major restoration which is necessary is an overhaul of the south transept roof. This is failing in the same way as the chancel roof which has been repaired. We need to raise a further £200,000 to do this, so there is a long way to go.
