FSPSP
The Friends of St Peter & St Paul, Ewhurst (FSPSP) is a registered, independent charity set up to raise money for the restoration of this historic “At Risk” village church. Since the Heritage Lottery Fund has abolished its “Historic Places of Worship Fund” we have to compete with everybody else for grants and it has become increasingly difficult to obtain one. The PCC does not have the resources for major capital expenditure; therefore our objective is to build up a large capital fund to pay for major structural work that will inevitably be required of such an old building. Our current objective is aimed at providing for the restoration of the Horsham slab roof of the South transept. You can read more in the About Us section.
In our website you will find information about the church, its history, its importance to our village community and how you can be part of this. You will be able to read about past and future projects and about the fundraising events which we are planning.

We aim to involve the village and the wider community in everything we do. This involves promoting the history of the church and its role over hundreds of years as a symbol at the heart of the community.
By registering to become a Friend, you will give permission for us to send to you directly, any publicity material about anything which we are undertaking. There is no payment for this.
We would be very pleased to receive your donations to further our work and you will find links to do this at the foot of every page on the site.
St Peter & St Paul is open every day from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. If you are visiting, parking is available in the village hall car park and in the Glebe. Click here to see a detailed map with footpaths.
