Family Fun Day

Here's a fun, family afternoon out with a real difference!
Entrance £2, under 12s free Free parking – at owners risk
Set within 56 acres of ancient woodlands ponds, meadows and rivers, Sayers Croft Outdoor Centre, in partnership with Friends of Ewhurst Church, is opening up its many activities for an all-age community event.
There's a climbing tower, a zip wire challenge, a caving experience, pond dipping and even axe throwing! For anyone less actively inclined there’s a maze, a display of classic and unusual motor bikes, and a small "Village" of craft and other stalls and activities to suit all ages and pockets. A special display will give the chance to discover the complete history of Sayers Croft from its beginnings as a centre for children evacuated from London.
Food
To give you the energy you need for the day - or just to relax - you can tuck into pizzas made by our local pizza van, have delicious burgers from Coverwood Farm, enjoy cakes with teas or coffees - or indulge in an ice cream. There is also a picnic area for everyone to bring their own.
Raffle Tickets
Even if you can’t make the Day - you can still have chance to win one of our many excellent Raffle prizes. The top prize is £100 Cash and next in line is a Ewhurst Hamper filled with all sorts of local goodies.

Climbing Wall and Zip Wire From 6 years to Adult You must decide how you are going to climb up the brand new 11m climb tower - then whiz down the 30m long zip wire!
Caving Experience From 6 to 14 years
Explore the artificial cave, complete with fossils, stalactites and a ball-pit sump!.
Pond Dipping For all ages
Grab a net and find out what lurks beneath the surface of our ponds. Find fish, snails, tadpoles, newts and more!
Axe Throwing From 7 years to Adult
Try your hand at axe throwing, using angel axes in the woodland range
